The recipe that will have you licking your fingers💦 😋These chicken tenders are a play on chili’s chicken crispers 👌🏾

Air fry on 390°F.

•In a shallow dish, combine buttermilk, flour, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Set aside.

•Set up a breading station. Dip each chicken crisper into the flour mixture, coating it evenly. Shake off any excess flour.

•Dip the chicken tender mixture into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated.

•Coat the chicken crispers in the crushed cornflakes, pressing gently to adhere the flakes to the chicken.

•Place the breaded chicken crispers onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat the process with the remaining chicken tenders.

•Add the breaded chicken crispers in batches to air fryer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.

•Once all the chicken crispers are cooked, brush each one generously with the honey chipotle sauce.

•Place the sauced chicken crispers on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize slightly.

•Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

*****Crushed cornflakes create a crispy coating for the chicken tenders. Make sure to crush the cornflakes finely but not into a powder consistency for a better texture. Adjust the amount of chipotle sauce according to your desired level of spiciness. You can also serve these chicken crispers with a side of fries, coleslaw, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
