Honey Chipotle Chicken Tenders

Air fry on 390°F.

In a shallow dish, combine buttermilk, flour, garlic powder, paprika, onion powers, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Set aside.

Set up a breading station. Dip each chicken tender into the flour mixture, coating it evenly. Shake off any excess flour.

Dip the chicken tender mixture into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated.

Coat the chicken tender in the crushed cornflakes, pressing gently to adhere the flakes to the chicken.

Place the breaded chicken tender onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat the process with the remaining chicken tenders.

Add the breaded chicken tenders in batches to air fryer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.

Once all the chicken tenders are cooked, brush each one generously with the honey chipotle sauce.

Place the sauced chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize slightly.

Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve your delicious honey chipotle chicken tenders with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

*****Crushed cornflakes create a crispy coating for the chicken tenders. Make sure to crush the cornflakes finely but not into a powder consistency for a better texture. Adjust the amount of chipotle sauce according to your desired level of spiciness. You can also serve these chicken tenders with a side of fries, coleslaw, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
